Favorite worship song?

I've been meaning to write a post on a worship song that I can't seem to listen to enough these days. I find this praise song chorus so powerful that some days I can seriously be moved to tears, it's that Good. I want to share the words with you.

My iPod is full of randomly picked songs, not albums. Most of these songs, I've heard on Robby's iPod and ended up downloading them! I'm always looking for new Christian music to listen to! A girlfriend of mine just recommended Mandisa (American Idol) and it's really rockin!!! What songs do you enjoy?

The splendor of a King,
Clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice,
All the earth rejoice

He wraps himself in light,
And darkness tries to hide
And trembles at his voice,
And trembles at his voice

CHORUS(1):
How great is our God,
sing with me
How great is our God,
and all who sing
How great, How great
Is our God

VERSE(2):
Age to age he stands
And time is in His Hands
Beginning and the End,
Beginning and the End

The Godhead, Three in one
Father, Spirit, Son
The Lion and the Lamb,
The Lion and the Lamb

CHORUS(1):
How great is our God,
sing with me
How great is our God,
and all who sing
How great, How great
Is our God

CHORUS(2)
Name above all names
You are Worthy of all praise
and My heart will sing how great
Is our God
(x2)

CHORUS(1):
How great is our God,
Sing with me
How great is our God,
and all who sing
How great, How great
Is our God

CHORUS(1):
How great is our God,
Sing with me
How great is our God,
and who sing
How great, How great
Is our God

It's just so awesome to think about how Great our God is :)

Another song I love is by Nicole C. Mullen. It's called "Redeemer". I love just listening to this song and thinking how great our God is, that He created the world we live in and how soverign He is over everything.

Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?
and Who told the ocean you can only come this far?
and Who showed the moon where to hide 'til evening?

Whose words alone can catch a falling star?

Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives:
All of creation testifies
This life within me cry
I know my Redeemer lives, yeah.

The very same God that spins things in orbit
runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I'm broken
They conquered death to bring me victory

Now I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life within we cry
I know my Redeemer, He lives
To take away my shame
And He lives forever, I'll proclaim
That the payment for my sin
Was the precious life He gave

But now He's alive and
There's an empty grave.

And I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life within me cry
I know my Redeemer,
I know my Redeemer
I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
I know that I know that I know that I know that I know my redeemer lives
Because He lives I can face tomorrow
I Know I know
He lives He lives yeah, yeah I spoke with him this morning
He lives He lives, the tomb is empty,
He lives I gotta tell everybody

Rebecca,
I heard Nicole C. Mullen perform "Redeemer" live in an arena. The place was completly silent when she was done. It was that moving. I'm a Chris Tomlin fan too. I also really like "Walk by Faith" by Jeremy Camp. It's especially moving considering his story--and so true for all of us :)

I love "Redeemer" too. When that first came out several years ago, I listened to it on repeat for weeks.
I also love the first song you posted. I have SO many songs I love . . . "We all bow down", "Never Been Unloved" by Michael W. Smith, "He Reigns", "Cry Out to Jesus", "Amazing Grace", and--why am I drawing a blank on the real name--"This is my story, this is my song . . .". I love so many of them!
